People across world was watching so eagerly and was appreciating for a stunning heroic performance the pilot, Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger and the crew of the US Airways Flight 1549 performed in managing the flight landing in the Hudson river. This flight was supposed to fly from LaGuardia to Teterboro, a place in North Carolina. As soon as it took off from LaGuardia airport the pilot experienced a bird engine in one of its engines and very sooner on the second one, thereby feeling the loose in the thrust of the engines to drive the aircraft. He soon reported to the air traffic controller room with a shocking news that the Airbus A320 would soon land in the Hudson river. Initally Sullenberger requested for turn back to LaGuardia airport and a controller from New York Tracon radar facility, accepted for return, passing necessary calls to the traffic rooms at LaGuardia for an emergency landing. But Sullenberger refused travelling till airport and alerted that he would land in the Hudson river.

The transcripts and a audio recording between the pilot and the traffic controller rooms were released. The National Transportation Safety board however has now confirmed for the remains of the birds in both the engines, due to which the pilot has experienced a loss in thrust. On request of the board officials, the engines were also sent back to the manufacturer in Cincinnati, Ohio.
