Adobe releasing Flash player for iphone

Posted by admin on Aug 31, 2008 in Uncategorized

At Adobe’s “Flash On The Beach” conference, the company confirmed that a Flash player for the iPhone is under development and will be ready when and if Apple gives the approval.

While a true player hasn’t been fully developed and tested, Adobe’s Sr. Director of Engineering did confirm for the first time publicly that his team is “actively developing Flash support for the iPhone.” No word yet as to how comprehensive the player will be, nor whether it will bring true full-Flash support to the iPhone or if it will be a trimmed-down version.

Its considered that if Apple release flash player than there is no way to stop apple in terms of entertaining consumers with their device

Nokia Tube 5800 unvieled in the dark night movie

Posted by admin on Aug 18, 2008 in Uncategorized

You’ve seen it in The Dark Knight and last year we saw a glimpse - wait, let me correct that. We saw the philosophy behind Nokia’s direction to head towards an iPhone like user interface.

This time, Nokia is pushing the technology even further by introducing a device that’s part Communicator, part phone and part handheld device. There’s so much to look forward to and it isn’t really about the specs. What I’m really interested to see is how they innovate S60 to compete with the iPhone’s 2.0 platform. Add Palm’s new 2.0 OS in the works and we’re up for pretty interesting times.

Here are the specs of the Nokia 5800:

* A 640 x 360 (16:9) 3.2″ 16-million color display
* the Symbian S60 “5th Edition” OS
* An accelerometer for auto screen rotation
* A 3 megapixel camera with Carl-Zeiss lens dual LED flash
* some GPS, WiFi (b/g), and Bluetooth 2.0
* a 3.5mm jack for audio and video output (includes TV-out!)
* 140MB of internal memory
* a microSD that accepts up to 8GB (SDHC)
* 1320mAh of battery power via the Nokia BL-5J. W00t!
* a length of 115mm, width of 52mm, thickness of 14.55mm, and a weight of 104 grams

Nokia Xpress Music lineups

Posted by admin on Aug 12, 2008 in Uncategorized

The 5320 is Nokia’s mid-year showcase release for their XpressMusic line.The 5320 comes with a dedicated audio hardware chip and a 3.5mm headphone jack.Available in red and blue

Other features include microSD expansion up to 8GB, a stylish front real estate akin to the XpressMusic cool factor, S60 user interface (which means it has built in N-Gage games and S60 compatible apps), HSDPA connectivity, 2MP camera with flash, a secondary camera, and Bluetooth.

Lower end Nokia 5220 with a more conservative design, accented by the sharksfin tip on the left side of the phone. The primary difference in performance is that the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic phone runs on S40 which means it isn’t as powerful in terms of application deployment. It doesn’t have HSDPA, and uses EGPRS for data.

Nokia E71 a Successor of E61 and E51

Posted by admin on Aug 6, 2008 in Uncategorized

Nokia announced their top of the line enterprise model, the E71. Though it hails from the previous oh-so-thin E61 design, the new E71 looks more elegant and is a tad thinner and sharper on the edges. The Nokia E71 also comes with a dual home screen feature which gives the user easy access to two home screens including shortcuts - one for business and one for work.

Perhaps the only negative thing we can say for now with the E71 is that it comes with a 2.5mm audio jack instead of a 3.5m jack. We’re thinking that it is standard for the E series to come with this type of adapter whereas the Nseries phones come with a 3.5mm jack.

The Nokia E71 is due out in the 3rd quarter of 2008.

Here are the full specs:

HSDPA Connectivity
WiFi 802.11b/g
Built in GPS and Nokia Maps
One Touch Email Access
Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email
Mail for Exchange
Bluetooth with A2DP support
2.5 mm AV connector
3.2MP digital camera
Two Home Screens
110 MB internal storage // up to 8GB microSD support
